French-Inspired Vegan Cheese Board
Vegan cheese boards might be my favorite meal. I love how diversified, healthy and beautiful they can be. And I particularly love how they remind me of my home country.
They are very easy to prepare; mostly chopping up and assembling.
I’d love for you to try making one at home!
Ingredients :
- Fruits and vegetables of choice (examples include: carrots, cucumbers, peppers, cherry tomatoes, celery, radishes, apples, berries, citruses, olives…)
- Bread and/or crackers
- Vegan cheeses
- Spreads (hummus, pesto…)
- Nuts and dried fruits (pecans, walnuts, almonds, pine nuts, dried cranberries, dates…)
- Jams (I love to add a sweet touch like peach or fig jams)
- Greens for the base (arugula, spinach)
- Dried herbs (optional)
Instructions :
- Place some greens all around the board to make sure everything else has a good base to sit on
- Rinse, peel (if necessary) and chop up fruits and veggies
- Toast some bread and place slices and crackers on the board.
- Toast some nuts if you want
- Cut cheese slices and put them on the board. Add the spreads as well.
- Now, you want to make sure there isn’t too much white space. Place everything else on the board in the same fashion.
- You can drizzle a little bit of dried basil or dried oregano on some of the cheeses or toasts.
- Et voilà! Enjoy.
