It only requires 5 ingredients and it takes 5 min to make.
Everybody around me loves that recipe, so I hope you’ll enjoy it too!
These treats are a great source of fiber and have a variety of vitamins and minerals.
Ingredients :
- 1 cup of rolled oats
- 1/2 cup of cacao nibs
- 1/2 cup of shredded coconut
- 8 very soft medjool dates
- 1/4 cup of crunchy peanut butter
Directions :
- Mash the dates to make a paste. (see notes)
- Place all of the ingredients in a bowl
- Mix well until it’s all blended and not crumbly anymore
- Form little balls with your hands
- Place in the refrigerator for a little bit and enjoy!
Notes :
- This recipe makes more energy balls than the number showed on the photos. It makes about 18-20 according to their size.
- You don’t have to put them in the fridge if you want to eat them right away. But I would still recommend it if you can.
- If your dates aren’t soft enough to make a paste out of them, place them in a bowl with a little bit of water and put it in the microwave for 30 sec-1 min depending on the temperature. If you can mash them with a fork, they’re good.
